About the Role
Culinary Khancepts is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Event Planner to oversee and execute events at the iconic River Oaks Theatre. This individual will act as the driving force behind every aspect of the guest experience — from initial planning and vendor coordination to flawless day-of execution. Much like a wedding planner ensures every detail of a special day comes together seamlessly, this role will manage all event logistics, communications, and on-site coordination to deliver memorable, elevated experiences that reflect the River Oaks Theatre brand.  The role has the potential to grow into establishing our event program across our company.  These include all holiday and themed events for our organization.

Why Join Culinary Khancepts
At Culinary Khancepts, we believe in creating exceptional experiences — whether through innovative cuisine, hospitality, or memorable moments. The River Oaks Theatre is more than a venue; it’s a cultural landmark and creative hub, and we’re looking for a planner who can help bring that vision to life through extraordinary events.

  • Conduct pre-event walkthroughs with internal departments (culinary, beverage, AV, and operations teams) to ensure all details are aligned.
On-Site Event Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events, overseeing setup, décor, vendor arrival, and execution to ensure everything runs according to plan.
  • Anticipate and resolve any issues in real time to maintain an exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage event flow, including timing, transitions, and communication between teams.
Client Relations
  • Provide a white-glove planning experience with personalized attention to detail.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from booking through post-event follow-up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
  • Assist with event billing, expense tracking, and ensuring events stay within budget.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of event details, contracts, and post-event reports.
Creative Collaboration
  •  Work with the Artistic Director to integrate creative concepts, film themes, or cultural programming into events.
  •  Coordinate with marketing for promotional events, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
